PROGRAM

The 269 keys, 9-story project is a hotel makeover with amenities that include a ballroom, banquet hall, meeting rooms, and more.

Built in 1923, the Hotel Orrington in Evanston was named for Orrington Lunt, a co-founder of Northwestern University, and largely considered the Father of Evanston.

Hotel Orrington boasts a plethora of unique amenities, premier location, and grand, historic stature, providing all the foundation necessary for a top tier hotel.

PVEDI is bringing grandeur back to this property, pulling slight inspiration from the Art Deco style of the time, while using a modern aesthetic to keep the design fresh & inspiring.

The design of the original hotel, with its wood paneling, silk draperies, and marble flooring will provide inspiration for this renovation. In addition, the design will take inspiration from the historic documents, menus, matchbooks, and other artifacts from the hotel’s history.
