ABOUT
As Studio Leader / Associate Principal for EDI’s Austin Office, Michael is responsible for supporting the Multi-family Studio and reports directly to Brit Perkins. Michael is responsible for growth, revenue, profitability, project management, design, staff management, and client relationships. He nurtures a positive, team-oriented environment, ensuring that financial goals and deadlines are met, and assisting Brit with business development.
A native of Louisiana, Michael grew up in Cajun country, where the pace of life is markedly slower. This way of living influenced his design philosophy. Good design takes time, like gumbo, it’s always better the next day. Michael is equally comfortable developing a single-family home as designing a corporate campus. His experience includes Corning research labs, Biomedical labs for the University of Texas, Starbucks rollout, the 3M Research Campus, and the SHI Corporate Campus.
